Illiterati Board Game
Illiterati is a first-of-its-kind cooperative survival word game in which you and your fellow Librarians must battle the Illiterati, an evil secret organization that will stop at nothing to make the world illiterate.
Illiterati was the second board game my friends and I created, following our debut title, Rival Restaurants, which we launched on Kickstarter in 2022. The experience of developing Rival Restaurants taught us a great deal, especially about manufacturing challenges. With Illiterati, we applied those lessons by intentionally designing a word game that reduced production complexity through the use of repeating art assets and minimal setup requirements. This allowed us to strategically invest in areas that would elevate quality across both the standard and deluxe editions.
For this project, I was responsible for all aspects of art, graphic design, product design, and the creation of marketing assets for the Kickstarter campaign.
