Illiterati Board Game
Illiterati is a first-of-its-kind cooperative survival word game in which you and your fellow Librarians must battle the Illiterati, an evil secret organization that will stop at nothing to make the world illiterate.
Illiterati was the second board game my friends and I created, following our first game Rival Restaurants, which we launched on Kickstarter in 2022. We learned a great deal from the experience of creating Rival Restaurants, especially when it came to manufacturing challenges. With Illiterati, we applied those lessons, deliberately designing a word game that minimized production complexity by using many repeating art assets and requiring minimal setup time. With these parameters in mind, we were able to strategically focus our efforts on areas where we could enhance quality for both the standard and deluxe editions.
For this project, I was responsible for all aspects of art, graphic design, product design, and the creation of marketing materials for the Kickstarter campaign.
